IceCatch is built on a simple promise: your fishing data is yours alone. The app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. Everything you enter lives entirely on your device, and nothing ever leaves it.
Effective Date: June 1, 2026Nothing. IceCatch has no accounts, no sign-up, and no login. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or location, and we run no background analytics or tracking. The content you create — checklists, catch log entries, gear inventory, and trip schedules — is stored only on your device and is never sent to us.
Because we never collect any information, there is nothing for us to use, analyze, share, or sell. Every feature — logging a catch, building a packing list, browsing your tackle, scheduling a trip — runs entirely on-device. Your data is never processed on our servers, because it never reaches them.
All of your information is saved locally in the app's own storage on your phone or tablet. There is no cloud sync, no remote backup, and no server-side database. Your catch history and gear details stay with you, on the hardware you control.
IceCatch contains no third-party analytics, no advertising networks, no trackers, and no embedded marketing SDKs. We do not integrate services that would profile you or quietly forward your activity elsewhere. The app simply does its job without phoning home.
Keeping data on-device is the strongest privacy protection we can offer: with nothing transmitted and nothing stored remotely, there is no central trove for anyone to breach. Your information is only as exposed as your device itself, which is why we recommend protecting it with your passcode or biometric lock.
Since IceCatch collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children — including users under the age of 13. The app is COPPA-friendly by design and requires no personal details from any user, regardless of age.
You hold complete control over everything in IceCatch. You can add, edit, or delete any entry at any time. Because there are no accounts and no backups, removing the app from your device permanently erases all associated data — there is no copy held anywhere else for us to keep.
If we ever update this policy, we'll revise the Effective Date above so any change is easy to spot. Our core commitment, however, won't change: IceCatch will continue to work without collecting your data.
